We are looking for a Technical Program Manager to drive the executions of the engineering team by developing project schedules, finding and mitigating schedule risks, and prioritizing tasks. The role will coordinate across product management, software development, QA, and support teams and has high visibility as they provide project updates to the executive management team. This position reports to the VP of Engineering and Support and is a flexible hybrid position in our Boston office.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Own and maintain the consolidated engineering product development plan, including reporting to senior management on a weekly basis
  • Work with product management, technical support, and other customer-facing teams to develop and clarify product requirements
  • Work with software development and QA to develop and track lists of tasks and delivery schedules for feature releases and sustaining releases
  • Maintain quantitative metrics to track software development efficiency and product quality

Skills

  • Strong technical background in software development with demonstrated track record of having delivered commercial products
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate to development teams, as well as to executive management
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work across functional teams, including business teams

Educational and Work Experience:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical field
  • 10+ years of software development experience, of which 5+ years has been as a software development manager or technical program manager
