Location: Hybrid-Burlington, MA

Must Haves:

  • Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of FP&A experience, including business partnering
  • Excel (Vlookup, SUMIF, Pivot tables, graphs)
  • Experience in a fast paced environment

Plus:

  • Support of a Professional Services group or experience in the Professional Services/Consulting industry-highly preferred
  • Revenue recognition as it pertains to recognition of Professional Services/Consulting revenue (fixed fee, percentage of completion, time & materials, etc.)
  • SaaS/Software industry experience
  • Oracle or Netsuite
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles
  • Healthcare industry exposure is always a plus

Overview:

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Financial Planning and Analysis (“FP&A”) team. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our finance team and senior management by providing valuable insights, analysis, and recommendations to drive strategic decision-making and optimize financial performance. This role will be supporting the Global Professional Services division, primarily on Income Statement activities.

About Center of Excellence:

Centers of Excellence (COE) are teams whose primary goal is to provide expertise in a specific field. COEs will usually provide support through training, research, and skilled leaders. In the case of our company, our Centers of Excellence incorporate the Human Resources, IT, Legal and Financial fields, all of which provide support to our Product divisions and allows the enterprise to move forward and achieve its goals.

Your Impact:

  • Responsible for creating and maintaining complex financial models to support the monthly forecasting process and on-going ad-hoc analysis for the Global Professional Services (GPS) business; Continuously seek opportunities to enhance financial processes, streamline workflows, and implement best practices to drive efficiency and scalability.
  • Responsible for financial modeling, reporting, forecasting, and budgeting with focus on revenue, expense and headcount management to help drive profitability as well as support the continuing growth of the GPS business
  • Partner directly with senior management and other internal stakeholders to provide financial analysis, insights & recommendations to the GPS division
  • Work both within the Finance team and with other departments (HR, Sales, Operations, etc.) to support the GPS division
  • Prepare management reports & dashboards focused around financial & operational KPI’s; Drive reporting automation and develop new and improved metrics and processes.
  • Collaborate with accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with GAAP standards.
  • Build financial models for new business concepts, make analytical judgments, and provide data intensive analyses to drive meaningful change.
  • Assist in the annual budgeting process by collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data, perform analysis, and validate assumptions.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Finance, Economics or Accounting
  • 4+ years of experience in a financial advisory capacity in Corporate Financial Planning; experience in Professional Services, or Consulting-related industry highly preferred
  • Proficiency in ASC 606 revenue recognition, specifically as it pertains to recognition of Professional Services/Consulting revenue (fixed fee, percentage of completion, time & materials, etc.) highly preferred
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and variance analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate findings effectively.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Oracle Enterprise Business Planning and Budgeting Cloud Solution or other FP&A software is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting requirements.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
