Senior DevOps Engineer

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our healthcare organization’s cloud team. This role will be responsible for optimizing, maintaining, and ensuring the functionality of cloud infrastructure and applications in collaboration with application developers. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with infrastructure as code, cloud platforms, and automation tools.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the cloud and application development teams to ensure infrastructure and applications are running smoothly and efficiently.

• Manage and configure infrastructure using Terraform

• Conduct functionality testing and make necessary adjustments to cloud environments.

• Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business goals.

• Perform technical documentation for infrastructure, processes, and configurations.

• Provide expertise in system administration or database administration when needed.

• Ensure system performance and reliability in either Azure or AWS environments.

• Automate infrastructure tasks using AnsibleChefPuppet, or other configuration management tools.

• Script and automate processes using PythonBash, or C#

Qualifications

5+ years of DevOps experience, including system administration or database administration.

• Proven experience with Terraform for infrastructure management.

• Expertise in either Azure or AWS cloud platforms.

• Strong experience with configuration management tools such as AnsibleChef, or Puppet

• Proficiency in PythonBash, or C# for scripting and automation.

• Demonstrated experience in gathering requirements, meeting with stakeholders, and producing technical documentation.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
