Category Manager - Accessories

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the daily operations within merchandising and buying area and developing partnerships with all cross-functional internal partners and market vendors
  • Managing the flow of seasonal merchandise and updating merchant core and seasonal assortment decks
  • Entering, updating, managing, tracking, and organizing purchase order in systems (Apparel Magic, Shopify) to ensure timely delivery
  • Work with Luna for all accessories allocation and creating product transfers to all corresponding locations
  • Coordinates all inventory shipments and ensures they are received to selling locations in a timely manner
  • Setting up new vendors, style creation, and managing attributes in buysheets and all systems including website interface
  • Ensuring accuracy in all systems
  • Prioritizing and reacting with a sense of urgency to the requests from both the merchant and cross functional teams
  • Maintain relationships with Vendors
  • Identifying photos on the website to be reshot to drive sales and assist in merchandising each category landing page in line with brand aesthetic
  • Samples organization and coordination
  • Coordinate with Luna communication for all in-store merchandising direction provided by the creative director and provide assistance with visual merchandising on-site as needed.
  • Manages all new vendor prospecting and outreach
  • Monitors all samples expenses & vendor invoicing
  • Creating Assortment plans for each season
  • Managing all reporting for accessory sales
  • Communicate/work with Ali for all private label/custom pieces ideas, plans, process, etc.
  • Working with third parties to create custom Montce accessories each season
  • Manage accessory markdowns
  • Create receipt plans
  • Maintain Buysheet
  • Place all accessory orders with Vendors.
