Operations Manager

Work location: Tinian Island, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, USA

Summary

US based AIM World Services, Inc. with global operations, seeks experienced Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day USAF Airbase Runway rebuild Project operations on Tinian Island in the Northern Mariana Islands north of Guam. This role will include handling administrative and contractual tasks as required by both the company and the Client, ensuring compliance with local regulations, assisting with identifying and developing new business opportunities, and managing Employee wellbeing. Strong leadership abilities required. Proactive management capabilities are highly valued by AIM, our Client and Customer.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily project operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning of the site.
• Manage employee wellbeing, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Manage administrative and contractual tasks in line with company and client requirements.
• Coordinate with the client and external partners to achieve operational objectives.
• Ensure compliance with all local regulations and company policies.
• Supervise and evaluate employee performance.
• Collaborate closely with the client to build confidence and demonstrate responsiveness.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities.

Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, and/or prior military service.
• Prior experience in a US Military Contingency Operations environment (Operations., Logistics, Construction)
• Demonstrated experience managing a workforce in a remote, austere environment as Site Manager or in a similar role.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to challenging conditions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
• Willingness to relocate and live in a remote environment for extended periods.
