Job Description:

Must have

• The position is vital in defining the future architecture and propelling business value to stay at the forefront compliant and the best in the market
• We are looking for 10 years of experience in DA space with extensive knowledge in building future state cloud-based data warehouse.
• Extensive knowledge in one of the domains CPG Finance Supply chain or manufacturing
• Have worked with transformation project where customer has moved from on premise to cloud-based technology
• Designed and lead technology team to implement complex Datawarehouse

Primary Skill

• Snowflake Architect Snowflake Certified
• Snowflake Certified Architect with demonstrated expertise in Snowflake architecture and solutions
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science information technology or related field Masters degree is a plus
• Strong experience in technical solution architecture technology selection and solution shaping
• Proficiency in SQL data structures and database design principles
• Excellent communication skills including the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly
• Proven track record of successful collaboration with cross functional teams and stakeholders
• Prior experience in a client facing or consulting role is advantageous
• Ability to manage projects and resources effectively ensuring timely delivery and goal alignment
• Calm confident and logical approach to decision making and risk management

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture in accordance with best practices guidelines and policies
• Bachelors degree in computer science business administration or equivalent educational or professional experience and or qualifications
• Minimum of 10 years of in-depth experience in Data Management Data Warehouse solutions design and delivery of enterprise level architecture
• 5 years of strong experience in Snowflake architecture features development and best practices
• In-depth understanding of Snowflake Architecture including SnowSQL, Snowpipe, Snowpark compute and storage
• Well versed in migrating data and workloads from legacy systems to Snowflake using various tools and methods
• Well versed in migration of enterprise on prem data environment to Snowflake with performance and reliability
• Proficiency in SQL data structures and database design principles
• Experience in distributed architecture and designing for scalability in public cloud
• Experience in cloud AWS Azure or GCP
• Experience leading cross functional teams in delivery aspects associated to architecture technology
• Strong analytical problem solving and multitasking skills as well as communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in defining strategy for overall architecture and solution
• Experience in implementing quality guidelines standards and procedures
• Experience in Technical delivery using Agile Methodologies
• Experience in designing and implementing data security governance and compliance policies using Snowflake roles privileges encryption masking auditing etc
• Experience in Python
• Experience in performance tuning troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Snowflake

Good to Have

• Prior experience working in big data technologies like Hadoop Spark Kafka
• Snowflake certifications
• SnowPro Core
• SnowPro Advanced Architect
