The Triage Platforms team is responsible for reduction of T3R (Time to Trigger Resolution). We’re responsible for making sense of large amounts of data and determining proximate cause with precision and speed. We’ll leverage MELT (metrics, events, logs, traces) data + map them to our entity graph to determine when, where, why, and what happened.

Responsibilities

•You will deliver impact by driving innovation while building and shipping software at scale•You will provide architectural guidance and mentorship to up-level the engineering organization•You will actively improve the level of craftsmanship at LinkedIn by developing best practices and defining best strategies •You will design products/services/tools and code that can be used by others while upholding operational impact of all decisions•You will identify problems and opportunities and lead teams to architect, design, implement and operationalize systems•You will work closely with and influence product and/or technology partners regularly to help define roadmap•You will resolve conflicts between teams within the organization to get alignment and build team culture•You will review others’ work and share knowledge

Basic Qualifications

•BA/BS Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.•5+ years of industry experience in software design, development, and algorithm related solutions.•5+ years of programming experience in languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, C/C++, C#, Objective-C, Ruby, etc.•2+ years of experience in an architect or technical leadership position.

Preferred Qualifications

•10+ years’ experience in software design, development, and algorithm related solutions with at least 5 years of experience in a technical leadership position•5+ years’ experience with large-scale distributed systems and client-server architectures•10+ years programming experience in an object-oriented programming language such as Java, C/C++•Experience with large-scale distributed systems and client-server architectures•Experience leading by influence, formulating and driving technical strategies across various organizations •Experience leading a large organization

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this role is $175,000 - $288,000. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
