We are recruiting a paralegal for a small and dynamic law firm specializing in class action lawsuits. The firm provides exceptional legal representation and seeks to welcome a detail-oriented Paralegal to the team.

Position Summary:

The Paralegal will support attorneys by handling court filings, performing calendaring, formatting briefs, client communication, research and administrative tasks. This role is essential in managing case files, deadlines, and client confidentiality while ensuring the smooth operation of the legal team.

What You Get to Do: 

  • Organize and maintain case files, ensuring accuracy.
  • Calendar meetings, depositions, court dates, and deadlines.
  • Communicate with potential new clients and gather initial claim information.
  • Assist in preparing documents for court and sorting incoming mail.
  • Maintain client confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.

What We Expect From You:

Required:

  • Highly organized with impeccable attention to detail.
  • Strong understanding of legal terminology and procedures.
  • Expertise in electronic court filing and court filing requirements for briefs
  • Proficiency with legal research tools (Westlaw, LexisNexis).
  • Calendaring of court appearances and deadlines
  • Advanced proficiency in using Microsoft Outlook calendars and word.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree 

Desired

  • Certification from an accredited paralegal program preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal or legal assistant.
  • Experience in a litigation firm environment or similar.
