FPC of Hendersonville is excited to assist a leading global client in filling a key role: Distribution Center Operations Manager at their Moreno Valley, CA facility. This is an incredible opportunity for a driven operations leader to make a significant impact by optimizing daily distribution center operations, streamlining inventory management, and delivering exceptional customer service. In this role, you’ll lead continuous improvement initiatives that boost productivity, reduce costs, and elevate service quality—contributing to the company’s growth and success.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily distribution center operations: receiving, warehousing, and shipping.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Apply Lean tools (5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping) to streamline processes and reduce waste.
  • Identify and implement efficiency improvements with Lean, Six Sigma, and other methods.
  • Analyze KPIs to drive operational excellence and ensure certification compliance (ISO 14001, C-TPAT).
  • Lead and develop team, conduct performance reviews, and provide coaching and training.
  • Manage inventory control for accuracy and timely replenishment.
  • Work with supply chain and procurement to optimize inventory levels.
  • Ensure high customer service standards and timely order fulfillment.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve distribution-related issues.
  • Develop and oversee the distribution center's budget, implementing cost-saving initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in distribution center operations, with at least 2 years in a management role.
  • Strong experience with Lean manufacturing or Lean distribution techniques; Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification preferred.
  • Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong project management skills, with a proven ability to develop and execute project plans, set priorities, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously across various stages.
  • US Citizenship or Green Card Holder required.
