This exciting Hybrid role is based in West Lafayette, home of the famed Purdue University, with a rapidly growing startup! This provides you the opportunity to write your own code from scratch to define the standard for never seen before tech.
As an Embedded Software Engineer, you play a key role in the Integrated Software team and develop low-level software for next generation wearables!
If you are a self-starter with a passion for IoT or wearable tech and a track record of bringing custom-embedded computer designs to life in a dynamic and fast paced environment, this is your opportunity to make a real difference in the future of wearable tech!
The Role:
- Work on innovative IoT product development and wearables.
- Work with full-stack MCU firmware development, including bare metal coding.
- Work in C/C++ for embedded systems and low-power MCU power optimization.
- Work with communication interfaces.
The Person:
- You have written bare metal Embedded code to interface with an MCU to make a wearable work or for bringing up a silicon chip.
- Expert with C/C++
- Expertise in low-level HW interfaces, low-level debugging, and hardware testing using tools.
- Experience with communication protocols.
- Skilled in PCB design and setting up custom build environments with various toolchains.
