About the role:
The Data & Analytics Product & Design Sr. Director owns the vision and prioritization of the Data & Analytics platform and product teams including the roadmap, build, test and run. They ensure the roadmap meets the business and technical needs and enables the platform teams. They are accountable for technical delivery and value realization in partnership with the Architecture, Data, Analytics and ML teams.
Requirements:
- Knowledge and understanding of standard practices, technology, functions, and supporting industry principles in Data & Analytics.
- Experience leading the selection, build, and integration of data platforms including data management, API architecture/design, and Cloud Native technologies.
- Experience owning platforms over their lifecycle in a multi-team/channel context.
- Experience synthesizing vague or conflicting requirements from multiple stakeholders into a single platform vision and strategy through deep expertise in development, engineering, and UX.
- Deep understanding and experience in high quality digital delivery, including planning, dependency management, change control, risk, compliance, and governance.
- Sufficient understanding of the business needs, including knowledge of business processes, and value drivers of the products that consume the Data & Analytics platform.
- Expert knowledge of one or more public Cloud offerings including but not limited to Azure, GCP, and extending to Data Bricks, Snowflake.
- Relevant recent experience in industry-leading solutions including advances in clean room technology and activation of data products through distribution systems.
- Experience translating business needs to technical, operational domains (Data, Analytics, and downstream technologies and associated workflows).
- Extensive experience in Agile Development including team creation, leadership, platform standards, governance processes, and change management.
- Substantial skills in the platform technologies in their domain, sufficient to drive technical solutioning with the ability to actively engage with engineers to make decisions on technical tradeoffs.
