The Opportunity
Valvoline has a rewarding opportunity as a UX Designer. In this role, you will lead and design best-in-class interfaces to build deeper connections with our end users. You will analyze customer and employee behaviors, identify opportunities to solve problems, and create an innovative guest service experience in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
How You'll Make a Difference
- Design best-in-class interfaces, dialogs, and research to get closer to our customers.
- Work directly with product and engineering counterparts to elevate and evolve the guest service experience and deliver a consistent experience that meets our guest’s needs.
- Analyze employee and customer behaviors, identify opportunities to solve problems, and create an innovative customer experience in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
- Lead research, prototyping and innovate new products and capabilities that are focused on building customer trust, simplicity, and convenience.
- Other duties and responsibilities as determined by Valvoline from time to time in its sole discretion.
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum of five years of experience as a user experience designer, interaction designer, product designer or similar role designing mobile, web, and/or other applications
- Proven experience with rapid, iterative research, design, and development processes
- Proven track record presenting to and influencing people, from other designers to senior executive management
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
