About the Role:

Job Title: Proxy Engineer

Job Description

We seek a skilled Proxy Engineer with a strong foundation in network engineering to support our network security and proxy infrastructure. The successful candidate will have experience with Broadcom Cloud Secure Web Gateway (SWG), WSS agents, and proxy configuration, while familiarity with PaloAlto Networks Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage Broadcom Cloud SWG and WSS agent configurations to ensure secure and reliable internet access.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex proxy issues, ensuring high availability and optimal performance across network services.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on network performance and security, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices.
• Stay updated with the latest security trends, particularly those relevant to cloud-based proxy solutions.

Required Skills

• 4 to 5 years of experience in Proxy Engineering, with hands-on experience in proxy technologies.
• At least 2 years of experience with Broadcom Cloud SWG and WSS agent management.
• Familiarity with PaloAlto Networks SASE solutions is preferred.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, security best practices, and troubleshooting methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on security.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications in network engineering or cybersecurity (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Security+, or similar).
• Experience with other network security tools and cloud-based security solutions.

Location: Plano, TX (Hybrid)

Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $120K– $140K annually. Factors that may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
