Developer - Mainframe with .NET Experience

Location : Newark, DE (Onsite)

Hiring Type : Full Time

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Web API).
• Collaborate with mainframe development teams to create efficient data integration and system interfaces.
• Analyze and optimize existing mainframe applications for performance and scalability.
• Utilize tools such as COBOL, JCL, and DB2 for mainframe development and support.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across both .NET and mainframe environments.
• Document technical specifications and system processes for future reference.

Qualifications:

• Looking for minimum 7+ years of experience.
• Experience in software development, with a focus on .NET and mainframe technologies.
• Proficiency in .NET frameworks (C#, ASP.NET, etc.) and familiarity with mainframe programming (COBOL, JCL).
• Experience with databases such as SQL Server and DB2.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus.
• Experienced with cloud technologies and integration with mainframe systems.
• Experience with modern development tools and practices (e.g., Git, CI/CD).
• Understanding of legacy system modernization strategies.
