SAP EWM Enterprise Applications Consultant

Infosys is seeking a Principal SAP EWM Enterprise Applications Consultant

As a Principal Enterprise Applications SAP EWM consultant, you will be an expert responsible for driving the roadmap to different phases of the consulting lifecycle. You will be intensely involved in business process consulting; you will define the problem, propose and create the solution. You will also play an important role in the development, configuration and deployment of the overall solution. You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability building and help detail the project scope. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 11 years of experience with Information Technology.
• Location for this position is Indianapolis, IN. This role may need extensive travel and/or relocation.

Preferred Qualifications

This role is a critical leadership position which involves critical activity management and decision making. Following are the key responsibilities for the role but not limited only to these:

• Understand client vision and business requirements and define to be state process architecture and design.
• Understand the overall EWM Architecture and integrated scenarios with S/4 HANA, warehouse automation solutions and logistics interfaces.
• Must have experience in integration of EWM with automated warehouse – inbound and outbound processes, ASRS integration, AGV and MiR integration.
• Must have good knowledge in following EWM areas: Integration with ECC, Inbound Processing Outbound Processing, Physical Inventory, RF Transactions, HU Management, Transportation Units, Production Integration.
• Lead blueprint / design workshops and advice the customer on industry and SAP related best practices.
• Lead the team through design, configuration, and testing of the solution.
• Understand the overall EWM Architecture and integrated scenarios with S/4HANA, warehouse automation solutions and logistics interfaces.
• Advise the customer on new ideas / industry trends and innovations.
• As the world and business repositions itself to gear up for the new challenges, we are looking at onboarding Solution Design and Implementation Professionals in SAP EWM.
• An expert responsible for driving the roadmap, solutioning and executing the plan.

Identify the critical problem areas for the clients and are skilled at developing the right solutions to effectively execute and create profound business impact. This would be through a combination of and not limited to, client engagement, alternate design development, client workshops to discuss and communicate solution approaches, deliberate and agree on the roadmap and then execute it.
