Title: Process Engineer

Initial 24 Month Contract (W2 only)

Fully on site, Rahway, NJ

Competitive hourly rate (All in, including expenses)

Our client, a top US Biopharma is looking to hire multiple Process Engineers to join their Rahway site, their flagship facility.

This is a newer project for this client, being in high potency, it's a brilliant chance for a consultant to support a top industry leader with a new area they are moving into.

Main responsibilities:

• Developing & optimising manufacturing processes for 2 small molecule API suites.
• Conducting risk assessments & implementing engineering controls for handling HPAPIs, such as containment systems, barrier isolators & PPE.
• Assist in scaling processes from laboratory or pilot scale to full production.
• Developing and maintaining SOPs and work instructions specific to HPAPI handling.
• Supporting internal stakeholders & working with cross-functional teams.

Experience/education required:

• 5-10 years of process engineering experience must be within life sciences.
• Must have containment strategies experience working for a client that manufactures HPAPIs.
• Bachelor’s degree within life sciences.
