Software Application Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Apigee Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and managing API solutions on the Apigee platform to support seamless integration of enterprise applications and data. This role involves close collaboration with developers, architects, and stakeholders to ensure APIs are scalable, secure, and align with business objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement API solutions using APIGEE.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of APIs.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
• Develop and maintain API documentation.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in API development and integration.
• Strong experience with APIGEE Edge and APIGEE API Management.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.
• Experience with RESTful and SOAP web services.
• Knowledge of API security standards and implementation (OAuth, JWT, etc.).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with Dynatrace
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Certification in APIGEE or related technologies.
