Based in Austin, TX, Upper Echelon Products© (“UEP”) is a data-centric consumer products firm specializing in a diverse range of branded items distributed via eCommerce platforms. UEP exclusively manufactures and distributes Repel® and Rain-Mate® umbrellas, Everlasting Comfort® memory foam products, electronic gadgets, and bedding essentials, as well as Le Chateau® wine decanters, Café du Chateau® coffee makers, LumiLux Toilet Light®, Triton® dog leashes, and Flux Phenom® magnetic screen doors.

JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a meticulous and analytical Sr. Inventory Analyst to support and enhance our inventory management processes. This role focuses on maintaining optimal inventory levels, ensuring data accuracy, and collaborating with various departments to facilitate smooth operations. The ideal candidate MUST have a strong background in inventory management, data analysis, and experience working with Amazon Seller Central and FBA replenishment processes. This position requires attention to detail, proficiency in data analytics, and the ability to communicate effectively across different teams to drive inventory efficiency.

ABOUT YOU

You have hands-on experience with inventory and supply chain operations, particularly within the Amazon 3P seller environment. You understand the intricacies of Amazon's fulfillment and inventory requirements and are adept at navigating Seller Central. Your ability to forecast, analyze, and optimize inventory levels while maintaining compliance with Amazon's policies is crucial to your success in this role.

LOCATION: This role is based on-site in Austin, TX

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the development and execution of replenishment plans for shipments to Amazon, ensuring stock availability while minimizing overstock.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure data accuracy and identify discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance teams to provide insights and support on inventory-related tasks.
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of reports related to demand planning and inventory levels.
  • Utilize inventory management systems to track and analyze stock levels, providing recommendations for optimization.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and logistics partners to manage lead times and shipment schedules.
  • Monitor and report on key inventory metrics such as turnover rates, fill rates, and carrying costs.
  • Assist in the automation of replenishment planning and approval processes.
  • Manage Amazon FBA replenishment strategies to maintain ideal stock levels in fulfillment centers.
  • Identify and mitigate inventory risk factors, such as supplier reliability and potential shipping delays.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in inventory management, supply chain/logistics, or related fields, with direct experience in Amazon 3P seller operations
  • Proficiency with inventory management systems (IMS) and demand planning tools.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including the use of complex formulas such as INDEX, MATCH, VLOOKUP, and SUMIF.
  • Strong understanding of Amazon Seller Central and FBA replenishment processes.
  • Experience in conducting inventory audits and data reconciliation.
  • Familiarity with forecasting models and data analytics.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, Netsuite, or similar is a PLUS.
  • Experience with Power BI or similar analytics tools is a PLUS.
  • Experience with home goods or consumer products is a PLUS.
