IT Audit Manager

Required Skills & Experience:

• 4+ years in IT auditing or information technology experience required

• Industry recognized certification such as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

• Experience in performing IT audits in a lead, senior, or staff role

• Ability to read SQL code.

• Experience working with a variety of IT components such as operating systems, databases, platforms, network hardware and software, security tools, cloud services, data mining tools, and common software/applications preferred.

Nice To Have Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field preferred.

• Prior banking industry experience.

Job Description

An employer in the Woodlands, TX area is seeking an IT Audit Manager to join their team. This person will be responsible for developing, planning, and executing audit programs. This includes documenting and communicating risks; providing input on control issues; recommending process changes; and monitoring corrective actions for improving the existing practices of the organization. The ideal candidate must be comfortable speaking with IT stakeholders, conducting in-depth interviews with various IT departments, and possess strong communication skills. They will also oversee the performance of continuous audit monitoring activities in the IT area throughout the year. Must be local and willing to report onsite to The Woodlands, Tx. 5 days/week for the first 6 months, and 3-4 days/week onsite later on, and offers a competitive salary range between $95,000-$125,000 annually.
