Job Description:
We are seeking a Brand Strategist to join the Brand team at The Digital Dept. As a Brand Strategist, you will work closely with both senior leadership and your department peers to craft compelling influencer marketing strategies to our clients, and lead the way in sourcing, identifying, negotiating with, and contracting content creators to bring your campaign strategy to life.
Successful candidates must have 3+ years of agency experience and be familiar with creators, social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, Pinterest, etc) and building successful creator and brand partnerships.
This position is available in Los Angeles or New York
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to
Strategic Planning:
¦ Foster a culture of creativity and innovation, pitching new ideas and approaches to influencer marketing.
¦ Lead brainstorming sessions and workshops to develop cutting-edge strategies and campaign
concepts.
¦ Develop and implement comprehensive brand strategies that align with clients' business objectives
and market trends.
¦ Collaborate with clients to understand their goals, target audience, and key performance indicators
(KPIs), translating these into actionable strategies.
¦ Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in influencer marketing.
Campaign Development:
¦ Craft effective influencer marketing strategies to win new business, ensuring they are
on-brand and meet client expectations.
¦ Prepare and present detailed presentations to clients, highlighting strategic approaches including tactics, best practices, creative thought-starters, and sample talent.
¦ Identify and select appropriate influencers that align with brand values and campaign objectives.
¦ Manage the talent vetting, outreach, negotiation and contracting process for each campaign you win.
Client Relationship Management:
¦ Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, acting as the primary point of contact for strategic discussions and casting updates.
¦ Address client concerns and feedback promptly, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
Collaboration and Communication:
¦ Work closely with account managers to ensure cohesive and effective campaign execution.
¦ Facilitate clear and consistent communication between clients, internal teams, and external partners.
Budget Management:
¦ Oversee campaign budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximizing ROI.
¦ Approve expenditures and negotiate contracts with influencers and third-party vendors.
Travel:
¦ When necessary, travel may be required
Qualifications:
¦ Proven experience in a strategic role within an influencer marketing agency or related field.
¦ Strong self-starter and problem-solving attitude.
¦ Exceptional strategic thinking and in-depth knowledge of influencer marketing space.
¦ Excellent client relationship management and communication skills.
¦ In-depth knowledge of influencer marketing trends, tools, and best practices.
¦ Proficiency in data analysis and performance metrics reporting.
¦ Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Work-related Reimbursements
- Your role may require you to commute to work locations outside of the office to which you are assigned.
- Long-distance travel will be reimbursed in accordance with the expense reimbursement policy located in the employee handbook and in compliance with IRS requirements.
