Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Software Analyst to join our dynamic team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to develop their careers in software analysis and engineering. The Junior Software Analyst will assist in various phases of software development, infrastructure management, and security implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and troubleshoot software and system issues, providing timely solutions.
  • Assist in the design and development of software applications, contributing to programming and coding efforts.
  • Support infrastructure management by monitoring systems and ensuring optimal performance.
  • Implement security configurations and controls to safeguard applications and infrastructure.
  • Participate in testing and quality assurance processes to ensure software reliability and performance.
  • Maintain documentation of software configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends relevant to software development and security.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Basic programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, C#, or similar.
  • Familiarity with software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
  • Understanding of IT infrastructure, including servers, databases, and networks.
  • Knowledge of security principles and best practices in software and infrastructure.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with security tools and technologies (firewalls, intrusion detection systems, etc.).
  • Exposure to DevOps practices and tools.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
