RF Engineer (San Jose, CA)
Responsibilities:
- Develop models for RF systems using tools such as MathWorks and Matlab
- Perform RF electromagnetic simulation using tools such as HFSS/Q3D
- Document design ideas to build internal technology Wiki pages
- Analyze and verify test results and improve test fixtures when needed
- Assist in the development of internal IP & technology roadmaps
- Assist product teams to build and create world class auto-match products for the semiconductor plasma processing market segment
Qualifications:
- Masters’s degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering; Ph.D. preferred
- 2+ years of RF circuit, RF VI sensor, directional coupler, filter, power divider or antenna design experience
- Must have deep understanding of RF measurement system
- Must have deep understanding of lumped and distributed-parameter circuit models of the Electromagnetic structures
- RF circuit design for MF to VHF band (300KHz~300MHz)
- Must be able to work effectively in a highly interactive team environment
- Must be able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
