User Access Administrator

We are seeking a User Access Administrator to join our clients team. This position plays a critical role in maintaining the security and functionality of our IT systems by managing user access and ensuring compliance across various platforms. If you have experience in identity and access management, possess strong administrative skills, and are familiar with Active Directory and MS Exchange, this role may be the perfect fit for you!
Key Responsibilities:
Support & Access Management: Serve as a Level 3 escalation point for the IT Help Desk, assisting with complex access-related issues and requests.
Account Lifecycle Management: Manage account creation, modifications, and permissions for network, file, email, and print systems. Provide account repair and rights management.
Access Control & Security: Ensure that only authorized users have access to sensitive systems and data, conducting regular audits and disabling inactive accounts.
System Administration: Configure and maintain identity and access management tools such as Active Directory and Single Sign-On (SSO). Create and modify Group Policies as needed to enforce security and access protocols.
Banking Software Access (Nice to have/not required): Oversee user access to banking software, including Horizon, ensuring accounts are created, modified, or removed in compliance with security standards.
Documentation & Compliance: Complete and maintain thorough documentation related to access changes, compliance requirements, and security processes.
Weekly & Recurring Tasks:
- Disable inactive accounts (those inactive for 30 days or more).
- Perform semi-annual access removal for banking software.
- Handle routine administrative tasks related to account management.
Tools & Systems You'll Work With:
- Active Directory
- MS Exchange (On-Prem and Exchange Online)
- Microsoft 365
- Horizon banking software (Nice to have/Not Required)
Qualifications:
- Experience in identity and access management, particularly with Active Directory and MS Exchange
- Strong ability to manage and configure user access in a secure environment.
- Excellent administrative and organizational skills, with attention to security and compliance.
- Familiarity with Group Policy management on servers.
