This position is crucial for leading the marketing efforts of a busy and dynamic national team. We seek a self-starter who can independently spearhead projects and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
Core Responsibilities
- Supports national student housing multifamily capital markets group based in Austin, TX
- Leads the marketing efforts as a self-starter, managing team deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Designs and prepares content for pitches, presentations, and property marketing collateral
- Ensures efficient team workflows, fostering collaboration for content delivery
- Follows Newmark branding guidelines to ensure consistency across all marketing materials
- Designs and produces comprehensive market reports
- Creates and manages listing websites, marketing campaigns, and sold announcements
- Works closely with corporate communications to request press releases and facilitate interviews or other press opportunities
- Stay in front of design and marketing trends to help generate brand awareness and ahead of competitors
- Coordinates with third-party vendors for photography, video/aerial footage, and virtual tours for listings
- Adapts to changing priorities and project requirements effectively
- Respond to inquiries from clients and provide information as needed
- Other administrative duties as needed
Core Competencies
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills
- Strong design abilities suitable for a high producing national team with institutional clients
- Superior grammatical and writing abilities
- Exceptional working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro)
- Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (particularly Outlook and Excel)
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet tight deadlines
- Experience creating marketing pitches, presentations, property marketing collateral, websites/landing pages, digital and print advertisements, social media marketing, etc.
- Can convert research-based data into a visually compelling story for presentations, market updates, infographics, graphs, etc.
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Knowledge of the commercial real estate industry
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Past leadership or project management experience
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Experience with RCM or other database/real estate management programs
- Mac and PC
- Video editing/creation using Premiere Pro
- Social media
