Senior Technical Product Manager

LOOKING FOR a Technical Product Manager with at least 5+ years of recent experience as a Product Manager, at least 3+ of those years of experience as a Technical Product Manager for one company DESIGNING and OWNING the SaaS product.

RECENT EXPERIENCE MUST INCLUDE:

• UML Diagrams
• Design (Collaborating closely with UI/UX designers and contributing to early-stage design mockups, wireframes, and user flows)
• Backend (API integrations, etc.)
• Business modeling (Defining the business case, revenue models, operational models, etc.)
• As a start up, all of these guys up to the C-Suite are designing the product.
• Employment history: Tenure is important (3+ years is minimum with companies. Need PMs who have involvement in the entire life cycle of the product.

DEGREE IS MANDATORY:

• Software Engineering, Computer Science or Mathematics degree (possibly direct backend experience to make up for it) is critical.

LOCATION:

Austin, Texas (flexible work schedule until 4/1/24 - 4 days onsite, 1 day remote after that -- flexible for the right candidate).

Their goal is to empower clients to launch custom mobile, TV, and web applications for live and on-demand content, with an ultimate vision to become a top vendor in the streaming SaaS space within the next three years.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic

• Engage in strategic discussions to understand the product’s business model and the global market landscape.
• Identify customer needs and define precise product requirements that address these challenges.
• Stay updated on market trends, both locally and globally.
• Transform insights into product specifications that meet the needs of clients in various regions.

Platform Design & Development

• Lead the design of architecture, feature development, and scalability for the next-generation SaaS platform, emphasizing flexibility and modern cloud-based infrastructure.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver high-quality, scalable products.

Business Responsibility

• Develop effective business models, including operations management processes, product definitions, and frameworks for business modeling, aligned with overall business goals.

Lifecycle Management

• Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from concept to deployment, ensuring the platform aligns with business objectives.
