Portfolio Manager

Logista Advisors runs a commodities fund based in Houston with a strong track record of success. We specialize in commodity spread options trading focusing on crude markets, however we are diversifying our portfolio by identifying opportunities in other areas of commodities trading. e.g. natural gas, electricity, ags and emissions.

Logista is seeking an experienced Portfolio Manager to help expand our risk profile and contribute to the success of the fund.

Key Responsibilities:

· Portfolio management in commodities futures and options and the associated trading of the book.

· Conduct market research and analysis to identify trading strategies utilizing expert knowledge of commodities markets including but not limiting to trends, fundamental information, market events, trade flow and cross markets opportunities.

· Collaborate with team members to optimize portfolio trading opportunities and improve firm performance.

· Participate in regular market briefings, meetings and strategy discussions.

· Manage risk through adherence to trading limits and guidelines.

· Stay informed on regulatory changes and industry news impacting the commodities market.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.

· Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

· Experience in commodities options and futures trading.

· Proficient in Excel and trading platforms; experience with statistical software is a plus.

· Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

· A passion for commodities markets and a desire to learn and grow as a trader.
