Job Description:

The SAP System Specialist plays a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and SAP solutions. The primary responsibilities of the SAP Business Analyst include analyzing business processes, understanding business requirements, and leveraging SAP technologies to optimize workflows and drive efficiency. The position involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless integration of SAP modules, and providing valuable insights to enhance overall business performance. The SAP System Specialist will report directly to the Director of Enterprise Applications.

Responsibilities

• This role will act as a gatekeeper for the client's entire SAP system.
• Experience supporting full cycle implementation, which includes Gap Analysis, Requirements gathering, Blue printing, Development, Code Review, Testing, Reporting, Go-live and Post Go-live support
• Participate in code and configuration reviews before release into production.
• Analyze system user requirements to define and design and implement system configuration, enhancements, and modifications
• Translate user's requests into application system solutions
• Resolve business issues by working with various groups within and outside of the company (i.e. system users, company management, consultants, software support staff)
• Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution.
• Leverage the core values and culture to drive accountability and engagement
• Represent high level of ethical, intellectual, professional, and personal values that complement the team
• Promote cooperation within the team and between teams
• Additional responsibilities and projects as may be assigned relevant to the position.

Skills & Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science or equivalent.
• 8-10 yrs. Experience in business analysis or project execution role.
• AMS project and Production Support experience is required.
• Strong technical, configuration and business area knowledge in SAP ECC with a focus in SD/MM/PP modules.
• Must be able to review development team's code and configurations before production release
• Experience in SAP APO/BW, API Integration is a plus.
• Experience working with EDI (IDOC)/ABAP developers to design/standardize customized functional solutions.
