SAP MDG Consultant Techno Functional with strong BP (business partner) background
Position: Onsite
Location: Houston TX
We are looking for SAP MDG Consultant with a minimum of 8+ years of Experience
Oversee the creation, modification, and deactivation of master data records, ensuring adherence to governance standards.
Expertise in Implementation of SAP MDG Solution for masters like Business partner, Vendor, Material, Customer etc.
Must be well versed in handling Business Partner configuration using appropriate MDG tools.
Experience in Configuration rule-based Workflow.
Experience in Integrating business process requirements with the technical implementation of SAP Master Data Governance
Expert knowledge in activation and configuration of the MDG modules & components.
SAP ERP logistics knowledge (SAP modules SD or MM), especially master data is required/optional.
Work effectively with Technology Operations/Infrastructure teams to ensure a seamless transition of the completed Master data architect solution to the final data platform for its continued operations and maintenance
Assessing current systems/customer needs and identifying ideas for system improvements
Working with clients to integrate customer master data from disparate systems to provide a single view of the customer master data
Planning/coordinating and adding/modifying/writing appropriate code/configuration, including technical specification documentation, upgrades, long range requirements, operational guidelines, protection, recovery, software installation, and resolving errors and failures
Ensuring backup and recovery processes are in place
Facilitate / Execute testing of project deliverables
Update and develop policies and procedures with focus on operational efficiencies through data quality and standardization
Directing day-to-day master data management activities across a virtual global organization
Developing continuous improvement mindset by constantly striving for ways to strengthen “end to end” process perspective for complex global business process master data and level process efficiencies on a global scale
Recruit, retain and train MDM resources as needed to ensure a sustainable shared service capability delivering agreed upon service levels.
Qualifications for master data management
• Design and develop workflows within the Master Data Repository tool
• Experience with MDM toolsets (preferably IBM Master Data Management)
• Familiarity with customer identification and address standardization processes
• Familiarity with data modeling tools such as Erwin, Embarcadaro.
• Being a self-starter/motivator and having a proactive, agile and strategic mindset are a must
• Background in SAP MM module
