Senior Backend Software Engineer (C++)

W2 Contract

Salary Range: $187,200 - $208,000 per year

Location: Mountain View, CA - Onsite Role

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Help build a new data center-based firewall platform
• Work on upcoming features of our roadmap
• Add new features and capabilities to the firewall
• Update and create new manuals and design documents for the implemented features

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
• 5+ years of C++ software development experience; experience with Linux/Unix platforms.
• Strong domain knowledge and expertise in firewall technologies
• Experience with data centers and building platform-based applications
• Test-driven development and unit test automation experience
• Strong understanding of different network protocols
