Process Engineer

POSITION SUMMARY: To challenge and develop process mastery and energy efficiency in our plants by leading technical & operational advancements that contribute to reducing operating costs while enhancing product quality and ensuring environment compliance. Direct, coordinate and exercise functional authority for planning, organizing, controlling, integrating and completing process engineering projects within area of responsibility. Provide technical support to plant personnel on new and existing processes and be a resource for information for the design and installation of process equipment applicable to the lime / minerals manufacturing processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS:

• Provide technical support and direction to the operations in solving equipment and process problems.
• Challenge operations in a constructive manner to improve performance & reduce cost.
• In collaboration with Group, set technical standards and bring innovation to the business.
• Provide expertise in environmental technologies and safe operation of equipment to ensure the business maintains its license to operate.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, structural, civil or chemical engineering preferred.

PREFFERED EDUCATION:

• BS in Engineering

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

• 2-5+ years process engineering

PREFFERED EXPERIENCE:

• Lime, cement or minerals industry process experience preferred.
