Role: Network Operations Centre (NOC) Lead

Location: Phoenix, AZ (Day 1 Onsite)

Duration: Long Term

Job Description:

• NOC Lead should be proficient in ServiceNow, All aspects of INC, Problem and Change!

• NOC Lead should be proficient in Network design and troubleshooting across many corp sites

• NOC Lead should be in Phoenix Block23 location to partner with new NOC Manager that is coming onboard soon.

• NOC Lead should be proficient and or expert in INC Management per ITIL.

• NOC Lead should be ITIL Certified

• NOC lead should have min of 5 years of being in a lead Technical role.

• NOC lead should be able to demonstrate ability to support and use multiple Network and Server tools used at WAB.

• Team Leadership:

o Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of NOC engineers and analysts.

o Foster a collaborative and positive work environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.

o Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and feedback to team members.

• Operational Oversight:

o Oversee the 24/7 operation of the NOC, ensuring the timely and effective resolution of incidents

o Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination in incident response.

• Process Improvement:

o Continuously evaluate and enhance NOC processes and procedures for incident detection, resolution, and escalation.

o Implement best practices and industry standards to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of NOC operations.

• Incident Management:

o Manage the end-to-end incident management process, from initial detection through resolution and post-incident analysis.

o Coordinate with other IT teams and external vendors to ensure timely incident resolution.

• Resource Management:

o Allocate resources effectively based on workload and priority.

o Identify training needs and provide professional development opportunities for team members.

• Documentation:

o Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation of procedures, and incident response plans.

o Regularly review and update documentation to reflect changes in the environment.

• Performance Metrics:

o Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the NOC, reporting on performance and identifying areas for improvement.

o Develop reports and dashboards to provide insights into network health and performance.

• Proven experience in NOC, with a broad understanding of network operations and IT infrastructure with proficiency in Azure cloud

• ITSM/ITIL Service Management Domain Skills

• Leadership experience supervising direct reports required
