This is an opportunity to craft memorable dining experiences across private clubs, exclusive events, and fan-favorite concessions, where inventive, fun foods are key.

The Executive Chef will play a leading role in the stadium's future with a focus on high-volume service and VIP events. This role demands an innovative, charismatic chef who can design creative, on-trend menus while inspiring a team of 60 culinary professionals.

Responsibilities

• Lead with Flair

  Manage and inspire a culinary team of 60, including three direct reports, to create elevated food experiences that leave a lasting impact on Chiefs Kingdom and beyond.

  
  

• Create & Innovate

  Design inventive, internationally inspired menus for premium dining, high-profile events, and exciting, fun concession fare.

  
  

• Engage with Prominence

  With guidance from our communications team, bring charisma and professionalism to interactions with ownership, VIPs, executives, and media. Be the culinary face of the stadium.

  
  

• Operational Oversight

  Direct all kitchen operations, including P&L, purchasing, and compliance. Manage high-stakes game days, large-scale events, and unique experiences like action stations and makeshift kitchens.

  
  

• Collaborate on Stadium Upgrades

  Provide expert insights on future stadium renovations or new builds, contributing to kitchen functionality and scope planning.

  
  

• Train for Excellence

  Develop your team to elevate the traditional stadium experience. Train staff in elevated culinary standards and innovative approaches to stadium cuisine.

  
  

Who You Are

• Dynamic Culinary Leader

  A chef with proven expertise in creating unique, trend-forward menus for high-profile or large-scale environments, ideally in sports, entertainment, or high-volume hotels/restaurants with events.

  
  

• Charismatic & Personable

  A natural people person with a compelling personality, ready to engage with executives, politicians, VIPs, and media. Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.

  
  

• Innovator & Problem Solver

  Skilled in running action stations, pop-up kitchens, and fun, creative concessions that delight fans.

  
  

• Financially Astute

  Strong experience with P&L management, purchasing, cost control, and overall financial performance.

  
  

• Adaptable & Strategic

  Experience with venue renovations or new openings is ideal; able to provide insights into operational needs for a stadium environment.
