Position: Digital Product Manager
Location: Richmond, VA, hybrid- 3 days/week onsite
Terms: Initial 1 year contract
Compensation: 80-85/hr W2 with benefits
Position Description
The Digital Product Manager will play a key role in setting the strategic roadmap for our digital offerings, including mobile apps, IoT applications, and other digital products. In this high-impact role, you’ll lead a team of Digital Product Owners and Business Analysts, collaborating across the bank to bring valuable digital solutions to life.
Position Accountabilities
Lead a team of product managers responsible for the following:
- Shape the digital strategy for each line of business, creating tailored roadmaps that address both current and future needs.
- Lead product development efforts, bringing digital ideas from concept to execution and creating impactful customer and employee features.
- Evaluate digital platforms and trends in the marketplace, recommending strategic partnerships to drive growth and innovation.
- Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring digital features deliver value and align with our long-term goals.
- Set and manage performance goals and KPIs to track success and continuously improve our products.
- Collaborate with Marketing on product positioning, promotion, and onboarding activities for a seamless digital experience.
- Present insights and strategic recommendations to senior management to gain buy-in and drive digital initiatives forward.
- Work closely with IT and key stakeholders to prioritize product requirements, coordinate release plans, and manage milestone delivery.
- Guide and direct cross-functional teams, building strong relationships and gaining buy-in across the organization.
Lead a team of analysts responsible for the following:
- Document business requirements and translate them into technical requirements to guide new features and systems.
- Coordinate design sessions and develop documentation for integrations, working across the organization to enhance workflows.
- Identify opportunities for system improvements and recommend changes to enhance efficiency.
- Act as the technical liaison with IT and Operations for managing release efforts and troubleshooting issues.
Position Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 10+ years of financial services experience
- 5+ years of experience in the digital space
- Experience as a people manager
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Program management and leadership experience
- Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel, with experience creating executive presentations
- Proven track record of developing product roadmaps, defining requirements, and leading implementation efforts
- Excellent interpersonal and management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams
- Ability to influence diverse teams to success without direct authority
