DESCRIPTION

The Brand Innovation Manager will be responsible for contributing to the creation of new products to strengthen and expand the CELSIUS brand’s success and deliver best-in-class new offerings to the category. This position will require an in-depth understanding of product development with a desire to dig into market trends, consumer insights, and category dynamics. The role will require both strategic thinking and executional excellence while managing multiple stakeholders and partners to drive growth for the brand.

This role will report to the Brand Innovation Director and will provide you with an opportunity to work cross-functionally alongside a wide variety of departments within an accelerated growing brand while actively working on new-to-market projects start to finish, including monitoring progress and reporting on outcomes.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Active collaboration with the Brand Innovation Director to drive the business forward with out-of-the-box ideas, strong leadership of a cross-functional team and by challenging the status quo to get things done more efficiently.
  • Partner with Operations & Creative teams to manage product and packaging transitions, formulation improvements and updates.
  • Work directly with the QA team conducting new and existing product quality control flavor tastings.
  • Collaborate with the creative team and external creative agencies to assist in the creative development of innovation launch support assets across all owned channels – including social medial, website, trade, and E-commerce.
  • Day to Day management includes running and conducting market analysis to understand market trends and opportunities.
  • This position will require the ability to write up and validate flavor & packaging concepts for innovations.
  • Maintaining innovation trackers and other reporting tools to ensure all new product commercialization process’ deadlines are met facilitating flawless execution in market.
  • Managing recurrent cross-functional meetings to maintain open and up-to-date communication on all innovation projects. Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
  • Assist with preparation of necessary presentation materials for meetings.
  • Assist with the innovation team expenses by receiving, processing, verifying and reconciling invoices for vendors.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, with 3+ years of experience in Brand Marketing and/or Product Development, preferably CPG.
  • Project management & leadership skills.
  • Experience working with creative agencies and other external partners.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and to provide innovative approaches in a team-based structure.
  • Ability to deliver both verbal and written communication in a simple, compelling manner.
  • Ability to think strategically, both from a brand and portfolio view.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Team oriented with great interpersonal skills.

The base pay range for this position is for a successful candidate within the state listed. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on multiple factors, such as work location, job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, and experience. Celsius is a total rewards company. This position may be eligible for other compensation, including bonuses and Restricted Stock Units (subject to company plans).
