Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Release Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of software releases. The ideal candidate will work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure that software is delivered on time, within scope, and meets quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Release Planning: Develop and manage release schedules, ensuring alignment with project timelines and business priorities.
• Coordination: Act as the primary liaison between development, QA, and operations teams to facilitate seamless release processes.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks associated with releases and develop mitigation strategies to address them.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for release processes, including release notes, deployment procedures, and rollback plans.
• Monitoring & Reporting: Track release progress and provide status updates to stakeholders, including any issues or delays that arise.
• Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve release management processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Training & Support: Provide training and support for team members on release processes and tools.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in release management or a related role in software development.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Proficient in release management tools and version control systems (e.g., Git, Jenkins, etc.).
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
