IT PROCUREMENT MANAGER
Aversan Inc. (www.aversan.com) is a reputable Engineering Company that provides expertise in Systems Integration, Product Design/Development and Software/Product Testing for highly regulated industries including Digital Health, Medical Devices, IT and Aerospace. We are currently seeking a qualified IT Procurement Manager towork on leading edge technology products The successful candidate for this position will be a part of highly motivated and highly technical work environment that feeds off the collective energy of a team-oriented workplace.
Location: Overland Park, Kansas (Hybrid)
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Contribute to effective service delivery of software services in ServiceNow.
- Monitor effective license positions and ensure adherence to vendor terms and conditions of use.
- Identify and action opportunities for license reclamation and optimization.
- Leverage tools to automate the collection of software information (install & usage) to simplify current processes and provide more focused, exception reporting.
- Review software license requests prior to implementation to determine if reuse or the procurement of new licensing is required.
- Review software license reporting with business representatives and assist in the overall understanding of the licensing model and allowed usage (as required).
- Report generation and user validation related to software contract renewals.
- Gather, organize, and analyze software usage trend data to determine maintenance/support requirements and coordinate with business lines to effectively determine strategy for acquisition/renewal of maintenance support program enrollments.
- Support external software audit activities including readiness assessment, vendor coordination, data analysis, remediation, and communication as required
- Maintain software asset database to track software entitlements, allocations, and related contract details.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Higher education preferred (university/college degree).
- 5+ years' experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Suite.
- Must have ServiceNow Asset & SAM Pro proficiencies.
- Must have Software Industry nomenclature proficiencies.
- Must have Software Asset Management best practices.
- General knowledge of commercial terms and conditions.
- Certifications in SAM, ITAM, ITIL, ITSM preferred.
