Science Researcher - Pharmaceutical (34961)

A global pharmaceutical company is currently seeking a Pharmaceutical Scientist to support developing medication for various unmet needs at their laboratory in the Burlington, MA area. The ideal candidate will have at least 3-7 years work experience in a similar environment and a positive, team-oriented mindset. This is a full-time, direct hire position.

Pharmaceutical Scientist Responsibilities:

• Develop new medication based on unmet industry needs, from concept to delivery
• Gather, analyze and interpret data regarding medications' efficacy
• Develop action plans to increase process robustness, prevent product loss, and control quality impact
• Conduct, plan and execute pharmaceutical experiments and clinical trials
• Responsibility may include project coordination, monitoring, reporting, meeting management, and team communication
• Lead the implementation of process validation for operational changes, new raw materials, and introduction of new process/technology
• Generate technical justification determining impact of change and protocols/reports/manufacturing documents that support its execution
• Other duties as assigned

Pharmaceutical Scientist Requirements:

• BS, MS, or PhD in Chemistry, Bio-chemical, or another relevant scientific field
• 2-6 years of technical experience in Process or Manufacturing Engineering or similar role
• Knowledge of the drug creation cycle: discovery, development and manufacturing
• Technical knowledge of the fundamentals of the pharmaceutical process
• Experience in performing advanced laboratory research activities on variety of animal species is a big plus
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in both English
• Korean language skill is a big plus but not required
• While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 40 pounds, lift in excess of 40 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision. Direct applicants only.
