Job Title: Database Developer (Hybrid)

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop database architectures and systems
  • Develop database monitoring metrics for database performance analysis and tune/optimize SQL queries
  • Develop and maintain database schemas and integrate JSON and XML data with relational databases
  • Design and develop BI datasets for reports and dashboards
  • Maintain database objects in a software version control environment
  • Collaborate with application developers to provide reporting capabilities for the business (using SSRS, Power BI or other BI solutions)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in scalable database design and optimization, including the use of the profiler with performance monitor, replication, backup/restore and security management
  • Experience in ETL development, data integration, JSON and XML schema creation and transformation
  • Familiarity with web services, REST APIs and data integration techniques in .Net environments
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to analyze complex data scenarios and provide effective solutions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
