Job Overview
We are seeking a qualified civil engineer to join our firm with interest/experience/expertise in some or all of the following areas: water and sewer infrastructure (wells, pipelines, pump stations, tanks, and treatment facilities), road, trails, grading and drainage, subdivisions, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, and master planning. Project work will encompass all phases from conceptional planning and funding assistance, design, regulatory approvals, bidding, construction, operational assistance services, and modeling and analysis.

Responsibilities
- Perform technical design calculations.
- Research materials and equipment to prepare specifications
- Prepare drawings and specifications to meet the needs of a given project, adhering to applicable regulatory requirements and design criteria with the support/collaboration of a project design team.
- Plan, organize, and manage multiple projects in various phases simultaneously.
- Prepare and review design reports
- Lead or assist in public and client meetings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure in Colorado or the ability to obtain it within one year.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing.
- Proficiency in MS Office, AutoDesk Civil 3D, and hydraulic modeling software.
- Valid driver’s license and capability to operate motorized vehicles.
Preferences
- Degree in Civil, Environmental, or Construction Engineering.
- Project management experience.
- Prior experience in an engineering consulting role.
