Senior Financial Analyst

LHH Professional Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for our Houston area client, to support financial modeling, planning, budgeting, forecasting, key performance indicator calculations and corporate finance functions. The ideal candidate will possess an analytical mindset, be driven by their results and have excellent Excel skills. The culture of this organization is one that seeks to reward its high performers!

This position offers a hybrid work schedule and a base compensation up to $120K, DOE.

Responsibilities of the Senior Financial Analyst role include:

• Perform quantitative analysis on business unit performance
• Create and maintain financial models for mergers, acquisitions and operational activity
• Collaborate with management on various monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc reporting
• Work closely with the business on strategic objectives
• Utilization of business intelligence tools to build financial reports and dashboards
• Support senior management presentations

Primary qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics or related field
• Experience in the oil and gas / energy space
• 2+ years of investment banking and/or mergers & acquisitions experience
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and exposure to BI tools
• Strong analytical and problem resolution skills
