Stealth Communications is seeking multiple positions for the role of Senior Electromagnetic Engineer. You'll be responsible for developing procedures, planning, and executing various TEMPEST activities. You will also support the EMF/EMI/EMC qualification of our products. We need someone with deep technical expertise and extensive experience in electrical engineering.

This position requires security clearance and is based onsite in Pensacola, FL.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, test, and verify TEMPEST requirements during the development and sustainment of various systems.
  • Perform EMF/EMI qualification test campaigns on cutting-edge programs.
  • Develop and mentor teammates in creating TEMPEST Control Plans, Test Procedures, and Test Reports.
  • Lead TEMPEST analyses and implement mitigation mechanisms to ensure compatibility and TEMPEST security of all physical, functional, and system interfaces.
  • Evaluate design drawings to verify and correct system design to meet TEMPEST standards.
  • Conduct TEMPEST testing of hardware and software systems in both lab and on-aircraft environments to ensure adherence to TEMPEST standards.
  • Support project management by tracking and reporting project status, generating bids and requirements, and providing work statements, budgets, and schedules.

Qualifications

  • Must possess an active, transferable TS/SCI CI Poly U.S. government-issued security clearance before applying and starting.
  • Must possess a PhD degree in engineering, engineering technology, engineering physics, or physics.
  • Previous experience (13 years) in the defense or aerospace industry is required.
  • Expertise with MIL-STD-188, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-464, DO-160.
  • Current Certified TEMPEST Professional – Level II (CTP-II) certification, valid within 1 year prior to application.
  • Minimum of 13 years of TEMPEST experience after receiving CTP certification.
  • Active in TEMPEST testing within the last 7 years and submitted TEMPEST reports for approval.
  • Familiarity with NSTISSAM TEMPEST/1-92 and CNSSAM TEMPEST/01-02 specifications.
  • Experience using RF test and measurement instrumentation (such as receivers, antennas, analyzers, and oscilloscopes).
  • Expertise in electromagnetic concepts, field theory and analysis (RF isolation, shielding: electric/magnetic, grounding, and filtering).
  • Experience with working with and producing shielding and EM absorbing materials; understanding material structure and composition.
  • Willingness to travel at least 30% of the time as required.

Salary starting at $250,000 + $250K Sign-On Bonus
