Lead Full Stack Developer | Rocklin or San Francisco, CA| Open for Fulltime/Permanent or Contract

Job Summary:

We are seeking an energetic and talented Lead Full Stack Engineer to join the Ecommerce Engineering organization. This individual will be responsible for a fast-paced team of full stack and backend engineers whose mission is to optimize the purchase experience.

What will you do?

• Partner with Product Managers in designing and defining new features
• Lead, coach and mentor a team of full stack and backend engineers
• Write code that is of high quality, be a champion of coding standards
• Influence the technical direction of the engineering team
• Participate in all planning, stand-up and retrospective meetings
• Hybrid hours – the expectation is to support offshore as well as physically coming to office in Rocklin, CA or SFO, CA Monday thru Thursday

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering or related
• 4-6 years of large-scale ecommerce systems experience
• Expert understanding of Typescript, Java, and web technologies
• An understanding of UI performance and accessibility best practices
• Enthusiasm for constant improvement as a Software Engineer
• Ability to communicate clearly and motivate team members
• Passionate about Ecommerce and retail a plus
