The Opportunity: Reliability Engineer, Rotating Equipment

In the role of Reliability Engineer with a focus on Rotating Equipment, this individual will play a pivotal role in optimizing equipment lifespan, enhancing plant profitability, and ensuring safe, efficient operations. Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading reliability initiatives in designated areas by providing expert guidance on equipment design, operation, and maintenance.
  • Developing and maintaining Preventive and Predictive Maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
  • Conducting Root Cause Analyses (RCA) and following through on recommendations to prevent future failures.
  • Applying advanced reliability tools to analyze data, prioritize issues, and recommend reliability improvements.
  • Advising on equipment specifications and participating in capital design projects to ensure long-term reliability.
  • Performing life-cycle cost analyses, evaluating spare parts strategies, and continuously enhancing reliability processes.

Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering and hands-on experience with rotating and fixed equipment in a chemical or industrial setting.
  • Expertise in reliability tools, root cause analysis, and a proactive problem-solving approach.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • A proven track record in safety practices with a commitment to maintaining a safe, compliant work environment.
  • Flexibility for rotating shifts and availability for overtime as needed.
