Compensation: 90 to 115k + Bonus

Position Summary:
This person will be responsible for reviewing financial reports, monitoring accounts, and preparing activity reports and financial forecasts. This person will also investigate ways to improve profitability and analyze markets for business opportunities, such as expansion, mergers, or acquisitions.
You will play a key role in assisting with transformational growth plans by setting objectives, planning business development strategies with other team members, and holding the members
accountable to the plan. The successful incumbent will be well versed in the finance
industry and will possess the ability to work and collaborate effectively within a highly
fast-paced and team-centric environment.
Objectives:
- Conduct weekly/monthly follow-ups to determine the effectiveness of financial plans and fine-tune the tactics needed to increase profitability.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including Operations and Marketing to develop monthly strategies, quarterly plans, and annual plans.
- Develop a strategic Resource Plan to reach revenue and profitability targets.
- Drive plans for major financial strategies, spending, system management, financial processes and controls.
- Work on optimizing and analyzing income statements, balance sheets, budgets, forecasts, and charts of accounts.
- Manage the quarterly/annual budgeting, revenue forecasting, and financial review process.

- Prepare and deliver monthly financial reporting packages, activity reports, and financial forecasts.
- Create incentive compensation plans.
Experience, Education and knowledge:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related area of study, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 5 years’ work experience in finance and accounting, preferably in a consulting capacity.
- Ability to analyze revenue streams, gross margin rates and profitability by product in an effort to devise forward-looking strategies and areas of opportunity.
- Can help make decisions based on margin rates, labor rates, cash position and financial obligations.
- Understanding of month-end closing cycles.
- Ability to develop complex financial models, budgets, and financial reporting packages.
- Ability to analyze financial data and financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flows) to devise the financial strategy of the business and where the resources and personnel time should be deployed.
- Ability to make financial recommendations to grow revenue and enhance profitability.
- Understanding of cash to accrual concepts, the benefits of each, and the impact on moving from one to the other.
- Intermediate knowledge of Excel functions and formulas to increase efficiency and the ability to analyze data within the business.
