Senior Oracle Data Engineer
Location: PA (hybrid, must relo or live nearby)

Senior Data Engineer – Oracle with development and database administration experience to join our Data Technologies Team. This team is responsible for supporting our middle and back office application teams with all of their database needs. You’ll be designing and optimizing systems that process massive amounts of data, ensuring high performance and stability.
In This Role, You Will

• Design, develop, and support database applications for our data systems
• Design solutions using Oracle and PL/SQL technologies
• Conduct performance tuning, schema changes, and database releases
• Write scripts using Unix shell script and/or Python
• Provide production support off hours/weekend, when needed
  

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience with database development and Oracle database administration
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline or its foreign equivalent
• Hands-on experience building solutions in relational databases in Oracle
• Experience working with large data sets (terabytes)
• Shell or Python scripting and programming skills
• ETL, SQL, PL/SQL database tuning, and partitioning experience
• Strong communication skills and experience working directly with end users
• Hadoop or Big Data technologies experience (preferred)
