The Client Service Associate is responsible for high-quality customer service and communication to private clients, Investment Consultants, custodians, and money managers. The Client Service Associate acts as a dedicated liaison between custodians and clients, building trusted relationships and delivering exceptional service. This role assumes responsibility for supporting the firm's Investment Consultants in account administration, operational tasks, client servicing, internal projects, and client-related projects. The Client Service Associate works on the clients' behalf towards achieving their investment goals, supporting our mission of helping clients prosper.
Responsibilities:
- Direct responsibility to fully onboard new clients accurately and in a timely manner
- Open new brokerage accounts for various client types including, but not limited to, individual, joint, retirement, trust, incorporated and non-incorporated accounts
- Process and facilitate various types of money movements including wires, ACHs, journals, DTC, ACAT and non-ACAT transfers
- Maintain organization of client records and documents in the firm’s CRM and document management system
- Follow internal policies and procedures accurately as it relates to money movement verification, CRM documentation, client tasks, and compliance requests
- Demonstrate ability to problem solve and critically think through the handling of operational tasks and client service-based projects
- Consistent and proactive communication to clients and colleagues in a timely manner for status updates
- Completion of subscription documents for Private Equity and Hedge Fund investments, with ongoing maintenance for capital call processing and additional requests
- Work with outside asset managers for initial account set up and ongoing account maintenance
- Collaborate with different internal departments on firm or client related projects
- Support the Director of Client Services, Investment Consultants, and Private Clients with ad-hoc projects
Education, Professional & Technical Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree required with a preferred concentration in Business or related
- One (1) to three (3) Years of Financial Industry Experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and Adobe
- Previous CRM experience
- Previous custodial portal experience, particularly Charles Schwab and/or Fidelity, is a plus
- Understands different types of money movements transactions
- Understands basics of different brokerage account types and client types
- Understand basics of brokerage account processes such as RMDs, 401(k) rollovers, etc.
- Broad knowledge of different types of securities such as stocks, mutual funds and bonds
- Broad knowledge of asset managers
- Basic knowledge of alternative investment vehicles [Private Equity and Hedge Funds]

Work Environment & Travel Requirements
- This role may travel up to 5% of the time for training and or business/events.
- This role offers a hybrid work model with three days in one of our professional office environments and two days remotely.
