We are hiring a Sr. Python Pyspark Developer for Dallas, TX / Pittsburgh, PA

Job Description:

  • We are seeking a talented Python with PySpark Developer with a strong background in Pandas and NumPy to join our team.
  • The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of data manipulation, analysis, and processing using Python, PySpark, Pandas, and NumPy.
  • The candidate should also have experience in working with big data platforms and distributed computing using PySpark.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain data processing pipelines using PySpark for large-scale data processing and analytics.
  • Work closely with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and implement efficient data processing solutions.
  • Optimize and tune PySpark jobs for performance and scalability.
  • Utilize Pandas and NumPy for data manipulation, analysis, and modelling tasks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data from various sources and provide insights through data visualization and reporting.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Python programming language.
  • Strong experience with PySpark for big data processing and analytics.
  • Solid understanding of Pandas and NumPy for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Experience in working with distributed computing and big data platforms.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with machine learning libraries in Python such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure for deploying data processing and analytics solutions.
  • Previous experience in developing scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven work experience as a Python with PySpark Developer or similar role.
