Local Candidates ONLY-Must have AI Experience-Oversee all facets of program and project management for a range of medium to high complexity traditional AI, generative AI, and automation products throughout their entire development and deployment lifecycle. Comprehend business goals and project scope to achieve desired outcomes for these AI products. Collaborate closely with Delivery Leaders from both Business and Technology to plan and manage project execution, ensuring that scope, timelines, budgets, and technical risks are effectively addressed. Engage with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and business analysts, to manage daily operations. Offer support and insights on best practices in program and project management, requiring in-depth knowledge of technology processes and implementation related to artificial intelligence.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with AI managers and directors to coordinate multiple medium to high complexity traditional AI, generative AI, and process automation products in alignment with departmental or enterprise strategic objectives.
- Develop comprehensive program and project plans/roadmaps for multiple concurrent AI products or for a single highly complex AI initiative, covering scope, budget, and timelines.
- Partner with teams across various portfolios to define dependency scopes, track work execution, and visualize the overall project landscape, including business capabilities and architectural requirements for AI products.
- Collaborate with development and application teams to decompose work into manageable components or features and identify critical paths.
- Drive delivery teams to implement tasks outlined in program and project plans, utilizing standard project management methodologies and practices.
- Proactively monitor risks, issues, and project scope, ensuring they receive appropriate priority, visibility, and escalation.
- Facilitate testing and acceptance of AI product outcomes across various teams.
- Communicate project plans and relevant elements, such as risks, timelines, expectations, and updates, to stakeholders, sponsors, and project teams to ensure alignment.
- Mentor and coach other AI Program Managers.
- Foster partnerships to collaborate, influence, and communicate effectively with all AI product teams, partner teams, and support functions.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Extensive experience managing large, complex AI or technology consulting programs and projects.
- Strong understanding of AI technologies and their application in addressing business challenges.
- Proficient in data analysis, market research, and business strategy development.
- Familiarity with the end-to-end machine learning lifecycle, including data preparation, model building, and deployment.
- Ability to translate objectives into clear plans, priorities, and assignments for the team; effectively manage prioritization and make timely decisions to progress work while taking calculated risks to achieve goals.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) of AI applications.
- Expertise in analytics and visualization tools to interpret complex data and convey insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Advanced understanding of Agile development practices and ceremonies, including the use of EPICs.
