Senior Network Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in network design, implementation, and management, as well as CCNA and CCNP certifications. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and security of our network infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain complex network systems including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Monitor network performance and security using appropriate tools and metrics.
• Develop and maintain documentation for network configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Lead projects related to network upgrades, expansions, and migrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) and CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) certifications are required.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing and switching protocols, firewalls, and VPN technologies.
• 5+ years of experience in network engineering or a related field.
• Experience with network automation and scripting (Python, Ansible, etc.)
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
• Familiarity with SDN (Software-Defined Networking) and network virtualization.
