ASP.Net Developer

e&e is seeking an ASP.Net Developer for a remote contract opportunity in Harrisburg, PA!

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Developer with 6-8 years of experience in designing, developing, and supporting web-based applications in large-scale environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in object-oriented design patterns and enterprise architecture, with a focus on modern web technologies, UI development, and responsive frameworks.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and test software solutions for web-based applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and implement system architecture and development requirements.
• Develop user interfaces using responsive frameworks, with a preference for Vue.js.
• Write and maintain clean, well-structured code in ASP.NET, VB.NET, and JavaScript frameworks.
• Implement web services, XML, XSLT, Ajax, jQuery, and ADO.NET for building scalable applications.
• Develop and optimize SQL Server programming (stored procedures, functions, and triggers).
• Participate in source control management using TFS/GIT and adhere to best practices for version control.
• Develop use cases, process flow diagrams, and other technical documentation.
• Collaborate in an agile environment, working both independently and as part of a team.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring high-performance and reliable web applications.

Required Skills

• 6-8 years of experience in web application development in large environments.
• 3-5 years of experience with object-oriented design patterns and enterprise architecture.
• Hands-on experience building modern and responsive web applications using JavaScript frameworks, especially Vue.js.
• 2+ years of UI development experience using responsive frameworks (Vue.js preferred, but Angular or React.js also considered).
• Strong knowledge of ASP.NET, VB.NET, XML, XSLT, JavaScript, Ajax, jQuery, and ADO.NET.
• 4-6 years of experience in SQL Server programming, including stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
• Proficiency with TFS/GIT source control systems.
• Familiarity with HTML and CSS for front-end development.
• Experience with developing use cases and process flow diagrams.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with user interface design best practices.
• Experience with Vue.js in at least one project.
• Familiarity with automated build, unit testing, and integration systems.
